Refund policy
Who processes refunds
Our orders are processed by our reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all purchases of Zawan. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
14-day refund
You can request a full refund within 14 days of any payment: the purchase of a package, the licenses (including those added later) or a renewal. You do not need to give a reason.
How to request it
Email us at contacto@zawanstudio.com from the email address of your account, or contact Paddle directly through paddle.net with the details from your receipt.
What happens after a refund
A refunded package stops being available on your account. If the licenses of your first purchase or of a renewal are refunded, the subscription is canceled; if licenses added later are refunded, those licenses are removed (if they are in use, the computers that joined last lose them). Either way, the plugin stops working on those computers once its offline permit expires (at most 7 days). Refunding a package does not affect the rest of your purchase.
Canceling is not a refund
Canceling the renewal from your account stops future charges, but does not refund the current period: you keep access until it ends.
Removing licenses is not a refund
Removing licenses you no longer need (My account → Subscription) does not return money: you keep them until the paid period ends (the month or the year) and the renewal only charges for the rest. If you would rather have licenses paid for in the last 14 days refunded, request it as described above: once approved, they are removed from your account automatically.
Free trial
The 14-day free trial requires no card and involves no charge, so there is nothing to refund.
After the refund period
After 14 days, payments are non-refundable, except for billing errors (duplicate charges or charges after a cancellation) or where the law requires it. This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
