Terms and conditions
Purpose
These terms govern the purchase, download, activation and use of Zawan, a professional plugin for Autodesk Revit. By purchasing or using the software, you accept these conditions on your own behalf or on behalf of the company you represent.
License to use
Your purchase grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the plugin according to the plan purchased. Reselling, sublicensing, renting, copying, modifying, decompiling or distributing the software is not permitted except with express written authorization.
Activation and account
Using the plugin requires a ZAWAN account with a verified email. Each license corresponds to one computer: it is assigned to the computer where you activate it and can be moved to another one once every 30 days. The plugin checks the license when Revit opens and at most once a day, and can work up to 7 days without an internet connection. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for reporting any unauthorized use.
Payments and billing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it sells Zawan to you, collects the payment, calculates and remits the applicable taxes (such as VAT), issues the invoices and handles refunds and payment inquiries. Purchases are also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. We do not store or have access to your card, bank account or payment method details.
Renewals, cancellations and refunds
Licenses are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Package fees are paid once. You can cancel the renewal at any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the period already paid. The 14-day free trial requires no card and does not renew automatically. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.
Price changes
We may change the prices of licenses and packages in the future. A change never affects what you have already paid: the fee for a package you have bought does not change, and your subscription keeps the price you paid until the end of the current period. If the price of your subscription goes up, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance and the new price will apply from your first renewal after that notice: on the monthly plan, usually the following month; on the annual plan, when your year renews (the year already paid keeps its price). If you do not agree, you can cancel the renewal from your account before that date, at no cost, and you keep access until the end of the period already paid. If you add licenses after a price change, all your licenses move to the price in effect from that moment, and the summary shows it before you pay.
Compatibility
The plugin is developed for specific versions of Autodesk Revit and may require minimum technical requirements. We do not guarantee compatibility with all versions, configurations, third-party add-ons, internal templates or custom corporate environments.
Trademarks and relationship with Autodesk
Autodesk and Revit are registered trademarks or trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. and/or its subsidiaries and affiliates in the USA and other countries. Zawan is an independent product of Zawan Studio: it is not developed, sponsored, endorsed or approved by Autodesk, and we have no partnership or affiliation with Autodesk. Any mention of Revit on this website or in the plugin only indicates the software it works with. Using Zawan requires your own valid Autodesk Revit license, which is governed by Autodesk's terms and is not included in any Zawan purchase. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Professional use and verification
Zawan automates supporting processes but does not replace professional review. You must validate results, keep backups and verify that deliverables meet project standards, applicable regulations and internal criteria before issuance.
Support and updates
While your subscription is active, it includes the improvements and fixes we publish for the packages you have bought and their compatibility with the supported Revit versions. New packages are purchased separately. We reserve the right to modify, improve or remove features when necessary for technical, security or compatibility reasons.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Zawan Studio is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, business interruption, data loss, modeling errors or damages arising from the use or inability to use the plugin. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected license during the twelve months prior to the incident.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect legal, technical or business changes. The version in effect will be the one published on this page and will apply from its update date.
